Volleyball

Volleyball is a fast-paced team sport that emphasizes coordination, agility, and teamwork. Played between two teams separated by a net, the objective is to score points by sending the ball over the net and grounding it on the opponent’s court. At JSL, volleyball encourages active participation, team spirit, and competitive performance among players.

Benefits

Volleyball helps improve hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and overall agility while enhancing teamwork and communication among players. It boosts physical fitness by engaging the entire body through jumping, running, and quick movements. The sport also develops strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong sense of discipline and cooperation.

Game Rules

Volleyball is played between two teams of six players each, where the objective is to score points by hitting the ball over the net into the opponent’s court. Each team is allowed a maximum of three touches to return the ball, and players must rotate positions after winning a serve. Matches are typically played in sets, and the team that wins the required number of sets is declared the winner.
